Aum is a sign that come from hinduism and even though I am not an expert in the subject I believe it stands for awakening, but also dreams and sleep, harmony.
If you do a seach on the internet for *meaning of Aum* there is plenty to read for anyone interested in symbilism.
It is not just the Hindus that use this sign. Many eastern religions use the same or similar signs.
I find it beautiful and like to think of it as something peaceful.
The bag is made out of midnight blue cotton cord and have a polycotton lining with one pocket inside.It closes with a small tab and button at the top.
A good every day bag.

Embroidery and decorations:
The embroidery is a free motion embroidery and not available in a set.The outline of the aum / (om) sign is beaded and there is 100's of seedbeads scattered over the surface of the front of the bag. It also have shisha (fake) mirrors and rhinestones sewn on to it.
