Egyptian Sunset
A natural coloured cotton canvas has been painted and embellished.
The background is hand painted with fabric paints; Sky, ground, sun, pyramids, tree and the silhouette camels.
Free Motion embroidery is then used on the palm tree and sun.
Machine embroidered camel head.
It is lightly padded and the layers are kept together with free motion stitches over the ground and sky.
The back of the bag is left in the natural colour of the cotton canvas. It is quilted in a wave pattern.
The bag is lined with a poly cotton, and it has one buttoned pocket inside.
It has a snap button closure at the top.
The base of the bag measures 27x 7,5 cm(10,5"x3")
And it is 27 cm (10+") high.
Strap length 92 cm (36")
A perfect size for every day use or to carry small things to class in.
You don’t have to be a belly dancer to love Egypt!
And here I have left the dancers out of the picture.
